How it works

Most remote roles fail on structure, not on talent.

So the role gets designed before anyone goes looking for a person to fill it.

01

Definethe problem

We open with what is actually breaking — the work piling up, the decisions waiting on you, what slips when you travel. Then the role gets written against that, in outcomes rather than duties. If a hire isn't the answer, we say so.

02

Buildthe structure

Hours of overlap with your state, who they report to, which tools they live in, what they own at month one versus month six. This is the step almost everyone skips, and it decides whether the placement holds.

03

Placethe right person

We source, screen and interview every candidate ourselves, then send you a short list of people we have spoken to at length. If the match doesn't hold, we run the search again.

How we hire

A search firm, not a database.

Every shortlist is built from scratch against your role, by the person who hands over to you at the end.

You deal with one person

The first conversation, the role design, the interviews and the handover are all run by the same senior recruiter. Nobody is inserted between you and the work.

No candidate pools

We don't resell a bench. Each search is run fresh, which is why the shortlist is a handful of names rather than forty.

We recruit across Southeast Asia

Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta — where a large share of the world's back office has been run for twenty years. Every candidate is assessed individually, in conversation.

Questions

The things people ask.

What does it cost?
One flat monthly fee per hire, with no placement fee and no percentage of salary. We'll give you the number on the first call, along with exactly what it covers. If you want to see what an Australian hire actually costs you first, run the numbers here.
How long until I meet someone?
A shortlist in about three weeks. The first week is spent designing the role rather than searching, which is why the rest moves quickly.
Where are they based, and what hours do they work?
Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. Manila and KL run two hours behind AEST, so an Australian client gets a genuinely shared working day. For US clients, working American hours is long-established practice across the region.
Do I employ them directly?
No. They're engaged through Alamora, so we handle the pay, the compliance and the employment relationship. No payroll, superannuation or foreign entity on your side.
What happens if it doesn't work out?
We run the search again, with no second fee. That holds for the life of the engagement, not just a probation window.
Are these virtual assistants?
No. A VA is usually junior, task-focused and often shared between several clients. These are people with ten years behind them, working full time with one business, senior enough to push back on you.

Building there, not just hiring there?

If the plan is a team on the ground, a market you haven't sold into, or an operation that has to run without you in the room — that's a different conversation. Organisational design, go-to-market and the commercial foundations that hold past launch.

Who you're working with

Ramzy Alamudi

I've watched a lot of Australian businesses look north with a sound plan and get the first few hires wrong. It stopped looking like bad luck and started looking like a gap — so I went and filled it.

Thirty minutes. No deck.

We'll talk through what's consuming your week and whether a hire is the right answer. If a process change would fix it instead, we'll tell you that.
